Gigi Hadid’s first runway was in New York City, it was the Desigual Fall 2014 fashion show. The show took place during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It had been the supermodel’s first time on the runway but it was not her first modeling gig. The Dutch-Palestinian-American beauty had just restarted her career in modeling at this pivotal moment in her life.
While her first Runway moment had been in 2014, this was by no means her first experience in modeling. Gigi Hadid may be the daughter of a former supermodel, but she got her first gig solely based on her stunning looks and talent. Gigi Hadid began modeling quite accidentally as a child model for Baby Guess. Guess’s co-founder, Paul Marciano, had been the one to discover this prodigy when she was just a toddler.
